Are you taking time for yourself right now? or are you running yourself into the ground trying to do too much and feeling overwhelmed. If it’s the latter. Please stop.
So many people I know are being pulled in all directions at once and feel they’re just about staying afloat (or sane).
Whilst my hat is off to people who work very hard, it also isn’t sustainable long term.
And I write this to myself as well as anybody else who needs it! 😅
In order to be a good parent, partner, sibling, owner, employee or just a shoulder of support to those who need you, you need to look after the most important thing first —-} your energy.
Counterintuitive as it might sound, taking time out actually buys you time in the long run because you’ll be sharper, more focused and more energised to tackle the important stuff, and do it well. You’ve got to look after yourself first (body and mind). It’s the only way.
👍If you have kids, can you lean on grandparents or family to do a group zoom with your children to give you an hour or two to yourself?
👍Can you join a mastermind, get a coach or an accountability-buddy to ensure you commit to organising your time efficiently and effectively?
👍Can you say no more often? The better you can look after yourself, the better you can look after others.
Keep the love strong 💪 and look after yourself.
