2021 is just around the corner! you’re probably looking forward to a fresh start. It’ll be a major reset for all of us, and I think this month will be a good time to really think about what you want for yourself next year.
The thoughts and actions you put in place now could form the foundation and template of what’s to come. Some important questions to ask yourself,
- Where am I in my life now?
- Am I happy with my current situation?
- What would I change about it if I could, that would make me even happier?
And probably the most important question…
How do you make those changes happen?
Personally speaking, the changes I needed in my life only started happening when I took action in investing in education, training, mentorship and support to improve my situation.
I also shifted my mindset from thinking about it as a cost, and instead saw it as an investment, in myself.
I’ve learned that going into business for yourself, is more than just about making money…it’s also a journey of self-discovery, self-development and leadership…not necessarily over other people, but over ourselves.
But there’s only so much we can do alone, at some point, we need the help of others.
I can’t remember exactly who said it, but a great quote I love goes…
“We don’t rise to great heights alone, we’re lifted there by those who believe in us”
